FREGATTEN JYLLAND I EBELTOFT
The frigate Jylland in Ebeltoft is one of the world’s longest wooden ships and an important piece of Danish maritime history. The ship was launched in 1860 and took part in several important battles, including the Battle of Heligoland in 1864. The frigate Jylland has now been converted into a museum ship.

SOSTRUP SLOT
Sostrup Castle, located in northern Djursland, was built in 1606 by Sophie Bille on the foundations of a water castle. The castle was built on an artificial island, supported by boulders and hundreds of oak stakes. The castle was taken over by the counts Scheel, who administered it for 211 years, an impressive Danish manorial history.
ROSENHOLM SLOT
Rosenholm Castle traces its roots back to April 1559, when Jørgen Rosenkrantz took over the farm Holm near Hornslet from the king. In the years that followed, he built a castle on the site, which was named Rosenholm after his family, Rosenkrantz. The castle is one of Denmark’s oldest and best-preserved Renaissance castles.
