We look forward to welcoming you to Hestehaven Camping by Fjellerup, just 300 meters from Fjellerup’s popular child-friendly beach for both sunbathing and water activities.
Choose your own place
In our online booking you can use “Choose your own place”. This option enables you to choose your own seat freely on the seat map.
Pool & Playground – Relax by our large, heated pool with free sun loungers and umbrellas. The children will love our large playground, which offers, among other things, Djursland’s largest jumping pillow, trampolines, play tower, carousels and much more.
Toilet facilities – We offer a family bathroom with free access to hot shower water. The children have their own luxurious children’s section, specially designed shower room and bathtub. We focus on high cleaning standards.
Activities – Throughout the season we organize various forms of entertainment, pool parties for children, barbecues with live music and activities for both children and adults. At the campsite we also have a TV room, kiosk, barbecue area and padel, tennis courts and mini golf right in front of the campsite.
Dogs – Dogs are very welcome – own bathing area.
The campsite is perfectly located as a starting point for visiting the many attractions on Djursland/East Jutland.

Fully equipped camping kitchens
No need to bring your own kitchen equipment. Our kitchens are equipped with everything you need, including crockery, pots and pans. This makes it easy and convenient to prepare your meals.
Indoor Kitchens
We have two indoor kitchens located around the campsite. Here you can easily prepare your meals in comfortable surroundings, which is a great advantage especially when the weather doesn’t allow outdoor cooking.
Outdoor kitchens with BBQ facilities
For those who love to cook outdoors, we offer several cosy barbecue areas. Preparing meals in outdoor kitchens under the open sky creates a wonderful atmosphere and makes cooking a cosy experience. It’s a great way to spend time with family and friends.

At our cosy Trattoria Pizzeria, you can enjoy delicious, homemade Italian dishes. We serve everything from crispy pizzas to freshly made pasta and other classic Italian favourites – all made with quality ingredients and lots of love. You can choose to enjoy your meal in the restaurant or take it home as takeaway.
If you are arriving late, you can also pre-order so that your food is ready when you arrive.
Fjellerup Beach – A Safe and Child-Friendly Bathing Paradise
Fjellerup Beach on Djursland is known as one of the area’s most family-friendly beaches. The beach has shallow, calm waters, making it ideal for small children, who can play safely at the water’s edge. The fine sandy bottom without many stones provides perfect conditions for swimming, playing and building sandcastles.
In summer, the water is often warm and clear, and the area is surrounded by beautiful nature that invites you to take walks, relax and enjoy pleasant moments by the sea. There are also good facilities nearby, including ice cream kiosks and toilets – and the beach is only 300 metres from the campsite, making it extra easy for the whole family to get to.
